VIS Solutions was proud to take part in Big Data LDN 2026, the UK's leading data, analytics, and AI conference and exhibition, held at Olympia London on 23–24 September 2026. As a Silver Sponsor, we joined thousands of data professionals, technology providers, and business leaders from across the UK, Europe, and beyond for two days of knowledge sharing, innovation, and networking.
Why did VIS Solutions sponsor Big Data LDN 2026?
Big Data LDN brings together the international data community to explore the tools and ideas shaping the future of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. For VIS Solutions, sponsoring the event was a natural fit — an opportunity to connect with organizations navigating digital transformation and to show how agentic AI is reshaping the day-to-day reality of running software in production. At our stand, our team met data and engineering leaders from a wide range of industries and talked through the challenges of automation, support, and building AI systems that organizations can actually trust.

The talk: the support agent that took the worst job away
Our Founder & CEO, Miljenko Vuković, took to the stage with a talk drawn from hard-won experience — The Support Agent That Took My Worst Job Away. For years, he was the engineer who absorbed the support “tsunami”: a small team fielding 1,200–1,500 tickets a year, with peaks of up to 20 a day landing on a single person — and nearly half of it work that was never even in the maintenance contract.
The session told the story of how VIS Solutions changed that with its own agentic AI support automation, now running in production. Instead of responsive support 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, the agent delivers 24/7 coverage — with instant access to each client's data and ticket history, so it never answers blind.
“An agent that answers confidently from an incomplete request is worse than no agent at all. It produces a wrong answer with your company name on it, at machine speed, at three in the morning.”
Crucially, Miljenko focused as much on what the agent is not allowed to do as on what it does: no fix reaches production without a human approving it, the agent never decides whether a bug is “real,” it never writes to a client's production data (it works against a restored backup instead), and it never quotes prices. The result is support that is faster, available around the clock, and measurable for the first time — while the judgement calls stay firmly with people.

At Olympia London, on 23–24 September 2026 — Big Data LDN is the UK's leading data, analytics, and AI conference and exhibition.
Every request enters through a single agent on whatever channel it arrives — email, chat, or phone. The agent identifies the client, pulls their history, asks one clarifying question if needed, then classifies and routes the ticket. It closes the out-of-contract work on its own, while bug fixes, data changes, and pricing always go to a human for approval.
By design, the agent never pushes a fix to production without human approval, never decides whether a bug is real, never writes to a client's production data (it uses a restored backup), never quotes prices, and only replies to recognized clients — so the failure mode is “we didn't answer,” never “we answered wrongly.”
